To add products
to your categories, go back to the Product Catalog main page and then click
on "Add a Product"
To add a product fill out all the fileds in the form shown above. Each field is defined as follows:
Item no:
this can be
any number. This is only for your administrative tracking
purposes.
Categories: Select the category or categories that the product belongs
in.
Small Image (90 x 90
pixels): Select a small thumbnail image of your product from your hard-drive.
Big Image (144 x 144
pixels): Select
a larger version of your product image here from your hard-drive.
Name: Type the name of your product.
Price: Type the
price of your product here.
Shipping Price Override:
If you want the shipping price of this product to override the shipping fees
that you will define in the shipping section, put the price here.
Free shipping: Check
this box if your product has no shipping cost.
Availability: Type in the number of items that you have in stock.
Shipping Weight (UPS,
USPS): If
you will be using UPS or USPS shipping, put the weight of the product in pounds
here.
Length:
For USPS shipping you need to put in the length of the product.
Girth: For
USPS shipping you will need to put the width of the product.
Active: Check this
box if you want this product to be visible to customers.
Appearance Order:
If you want your product to be listed in a certain order within its category
than type a number between 0 and the total number of products that are in
the category. If you want the product to appear first, then type 0.
Description: Type the text description of the product here. You
may format the text by pressing the buttons above the description field before
you type the text that you would like formatted.
