Quick Start Tutorial - Store Manager

On the Store manager configuration screen shown above, the first thing that you will need to do is determine what type of integration option you would like to use. The two options that are available are "Template Mode" and "Integrate with existing site" mode. These options are defined as follows:
Template Mode: This mode allows you to build your store using one or our presedigned graphic headers footers and naigation button styles. There are approximately 12 different template styles available from you to choose from. This method would allow you to build a totally self contained e-store using the chosen template. With this template method you even have the ability to different components of the template graphics with your own graphics, so you can custom the look of your own template. You would then be able to link to the estore that you build from any existing web site that you have. For example, if your main site is a shoe store that has various pages describing your show business, you could then add a link that says "On-line" store, and upon clicking that, your customers would then be taken to your store. While at your store, your customers, could get back to your main web site by clicking on the home link in the template. You can determine exactly where the home link should go to.
Template Mode Advantages:
- No programming needed to setup shopping cart
- Simply need to add a link on your existing site to have customers purchase your products.
- 12 template designes have already been designed for you to choose from
- No need to change the layout of your existing site.Integrate with Existing Site Mode: This mode allows you to integrate the shopping cart into your existing site. After you have selected this option from the main store manager screen shown above, when you go into the product catalog to add your products, you will be presented with HTML code that you can add to your site in order to have your products displayed on your site. This code can be customized, so you do have the ability to have your products displayed as you wish.
Integration Mode Advantages:
- If your site has already been laid out with a shopping section this is the mode of choice
- Your estore and your main web site can be seamlessly integrated
- You can customize the code generated to display optional components of your products
_______________________________________________________________________________________Once you have decided which method of the estore that you will b using you can complete the other fields of the form which are defined as follows:
Name: Put the name of your e-store here.
Set no. of products displayed per page: This number is the number of products you want to appear on each page of your shopping cart product category pages.
Have buyers agree to an agreement: By checking this box your customers will have to click a button to agree to your terms before completing their order. This agreement can be your own terms of purchase that you define. Terms of purchase typically state details on your shipping policy, payment policy, guarantees on your products or general guidelines on the way you do online business.
Home Link: Specify your home page link here. (This is only applicable for the Template integration method)
Title Below Header: If you would like to have a title appear directly below the header of your estore, type in the text of it hear.PAYMENT GATEWAY OPTIONS
Payment Options: Select all the credit cards you accept.
Order Processing via: You can choose to have process orders by just having your customers billing and shipping info emailed to you or you can choose to have orders processed via online credit card processing. You can select from the list of payment gateways that the estore is compatible with which includes Verisign PayFlow Link, Verisign PayFlow Pro, Authorizenet and Bluepay. If you select credit card processing through a payment gateway, you will need to also fill out the vendor account name field, and your VeriSign reseller account name and password. If you have selected blue pay you will need to follow our BluePay setup instructions here.
**Connect to payment gateway in test mode: When you first setup your estore and add your products you will need to check this box to test your checkout process to insure that your payment gatway functions correctly.
Vendor Name (for VeriSign or Authorizenet)/Account Name: If you have chosen to process orders via credit card processing and you are using an online merchant account from VeriSign or Authorizenet, you will need to put your account name here.
VeriSign reseller account (called also Partner Account): This should just be the name of your VeriSign account.
VeriSign/Authorizenet password: Put the password for your VeriSign account here.

If you want to offer discount codes to your customers then click the link next to this option.Default Font Color: If you want to change the default font color, input your desired color here. This covers all the default text that you do not add and control through the customized pages area. To change the text color of your customized text just go to the customized pages section.
LOGO OPTIONS
Logo image: If you want use your own logo, select this radio button and click the browse button to find your logo from your hard-drive.
The recommended logo size is ( 154x72 pixels).
Logo text: If you would like text to appear at the top right of the layout to the left of your header, then select this radio button and type your text here.
Leave logo area blank: If you do not want to use a logo or text in this area, then select this radio button.
